 My Nectarine tree
« Thread Started on Jan 18, 2004, 11:06pm »

Today I learned a 100# Golden Retriever going full speed will take down a 2 year old nectarine tree. The son of a gun broke right off at ground level.
I’m so disappointed I could just cry.
:'(

Oh no, Kris! I'd be bummed, too. :'( I once lost an apple tree that had several grafts. Somebody's in the doghouse, now, I'll reckon.

Went to get a new tree the other day.
I should have called ahead and then stayed home.
Little did I know they were having a huge sale.
Came home with another cherry, another apple, another plum and a nectarine, 3 red raspberries and 1 golden raspberry.
Now that I think about it was $40 well spent.
The way I look at it, digging is good exercise! Right? ;)

All those trees for $40? I'd say that's quite a steal, only a fool would pass up those deals. :)
