 Kitchen catastrophe

You know we all do it now and again.
Here are my latest mishaps.

Made frosting with 1 1/2 cups of corn syrup.
Let the bowl on the kitchen aid mixer down to get most of it off the beaters. Turned the speed to high intstead of low. Now have a gummy mess everywhere. ::)

Cleaned the carpet with the machine, hot water and baking soda.
Did you know adding baking soda to really hot water creates a volcano effect? I do now!

Got so involved with a new seed catalog, forgot about the frying pan and burnt dinner. And I was standing right nest to the stove.

Don't know what I'm thinking sometimes ;D
At least I have a sence of humor.

What are some of yours?

Kris
